In my photo project, I reflect on a personal journey that began with an exploration of impermanence and the fear of fading into oblivion. During this process, both on a personal level and through events in the world around us, however, it became clear to me that impermanence is not for everyone. Sometimes life can end abruptly , without warning . My inspiration for this project came from the natural disaster in Pompeii, a symbol of impermanence where people were suddenly overtaken by death. Amid the remains of this ancient city, I felt the echoes of impermanence, reminding me of the fragility of the human existence and how quickly it can disappear. This made me aware that life is fragile, yet immensely valuable. In my photographs, I try to capture this contrast: the transience of everything around us versus the beauty of the present moment. The raw emotions of loss and finiteness mingle with a deep appreciation of life and all its facets. I want to invite the viewer to contemplate the temporality of our existence and to contemplate its meaning embrace.
